Added weight can place a lot of pressure on your varicose veins which makes them worse. You don’t have to join some fitness club that you don’t feel comfortable at in order to exercise. In fact, if you just go on a walk for about 20-30 minutes a day, you can improve your blood flow and burn extra calories as well. Make it a goal to work out at least three times a week to start out. Then, you can work up to working out even more.
Watch What You Eat
Fad diets aren’t something that you have to hop on board or if you want to lose weight, but you should definitely watch what you eat. Try to cut down your calories a little but mostly, try to steer clear of processed foods. Processed foods are hard for your body to naturally digest which means that they can lead to more weight gain. To lose weight, try to eat foods that are high in lean protein and low in processed and artificial sugar.
Eat Smaller Portions
In addition to watching what you eat, make sure that you eat smaller portions as well. The smaller portions that you eat, the more likely you are to get full off of them.
